The Habits of Mind are an identified set of 16 problem solving, life related skills, necessary to effectively operate in society and promote strategic reasoning, insightfulness, perseverance, creativity and craftsmanship. The understanding and application of these 16 Habits of Mind serve to provide the individual with skills to work through real life situations that equip that person to respond using awareness (cues), thought, and intentional strategy in order to gain a positive outcome. 2. What might be an example of each Habit of Mind? Are your habits connected in any way?

  4. How might your chosen Habits of Mind be useful in ENA 101? In your other classes?
  5. Do you think that your choice of Habits of Mind might make you a better student? In what ways?
  6. Finally, create a word cloud (visual representation) of your choices which explains the significance of both Habits of Mind. You may use MonkeyLearn Word Cloud Generator. Click Here to access.
