Fall I 2024 Faculty Guidelines
We have converted the Faculty Guidelines to a Google Document. This new format includes a navigable Table of Contents with links to each section, updated information about recent changes to college policies and procedures, the new CUNY placement information, as well as the usual information found in the faculty guidelines memo.

Optional Syllabus Templates
Rachel Boccio and Tara Coleman created syllabus templates for ENG 101 and ENG 102 that implement accessibility and UDL considerations. Dominique Zino created a syllabus template for ENG 103. These are optional but available if you’d like to use them. You’ll find these files located directly below the Intro To Sheets on each page:

Attendance

Accessibility and Universal Design
In winter of 2024, the WPAs offered 3 workshops on accessibility and universal design. You can see the agendas, slides, and resource from these workshops here.
Updated Intro To Sheets
The “Introduction To” sheets have been updated for the Spring I 2024 semester. You’ll find the updated sheets on the resource page for each course. They are also on the Department of English SharePoint site. Intro To sheets are the 5th item on the page and are listed as a downloadable file

Periodic Program Review
This academic year, 2024-2025, the Writing Program will be going through it’s Periodic Program Review (PPR), a 5-year assessment cycle to evaluate student learning and to set priorities for the program for the next five years.
